I have thought about doing a blog for a while and have finally got around to setting one up! I think it's a really good way of letting people know what Chocoloty Cupcakes is up to and letting people know about new cupcakes!
I am going to write about some fun past jobs and post up photos so the blog is all caught up! I will start with how Chocoloty began - I did a philosophy degree and - despite all the thought involved - graduated unsure of where to go or what to do! It has always been a dream I would joke about to bake cakes for a living! My wonderful family made me an offer I couldn't refuse - to help make my dream a reality! I took the name 'Chocoloty' from a nickname my Nan gave me when I was little as my name is Charlotte and I LOVE chocolate- the rest is history! My lovely boyfriend Acer has designed me a website and business cards, my friend Sarah drew the images and my family and friends have all given me lots of support, time and help!
My first wedding job came courtesy of two of my lovely friends Laila and Paz and one of my best friends Julia has ordered lots for parties and has made me an office favourite for cakes. As well as countless other friends who have at the very least have given me invaluable help tasting ;-)
I now stock two coffee shops regularly - Caffe Crema, Camden Lock and Coffee Lounge, East Barnet. As well as a couple of tea rooms.
I trade at Archway market every other week and there's lots of other lovely things to buy there too!

The midnight launch of Starcraft II at 'Game' in Oxford Street - this was also my largest job to date - 750 cupcakes!
and the 'Fanboys' screening at the Apollo theatre in Piccadilly.
I have recently supplied 'Bangers and Mash' catering with cupcakes for their night at 'Punk' nightclub.
